Meet Our Clinician
Rebecca Kerby, ARNP, FNP-C, IBCLCRebecca has been working with lactating and infant-feeding families for more than 16 years. She is a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and a Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine Specialist. Rebecca also has specialized training in perinatal mental health.
Rebecca has supported many families in her past roles with La Leche League, WIC, community lactation, pediatrics & maternal health , hospital lactation & community education, and in Family Planning. She has provided education & various trainings to hospital staff on supporting lactating and infant-feeding families postpartum and in the NICU, and has had speaking engagements educating community health workers and lactation support providers on infant-feeding and perinatal mental health. She is the Chair for the Quad Cities Breastfeeding Coalition & Task Force, Co-Chair for the Iowa Breastfeeding Coalition, a Board Member & the Medical Director for the Family Planning Council of Iowa, and was one of the founding members for Postpartum Support International- Iowa. |
